Vyxl Logo Design for 22RS

Vyxl was recently involved in a rebrand for the 22nd Century Racing Series (’22RS’) racing game title currently in development at GOATi Entertainment in Melbourne, Australia.

The previous 22RS logo for reference —

With a brief to include GT racing stripes as a motif or element; and a style of ‘futurism not futuristic’ a few hundred silhouette variants were designed —

The chosen master silhouette comprises of multiple ‘racing’ formlines spelling 2-2-R-S which emerge into a dynamic arrow device evoking speed, competition and energy. The addition of the full game title was necessary due to the abstract nature of the logo silhouette, and being a new I.P and game title.

Vyxl has been honoured to work with GOATi on the 22RS logos, and is currently assisting with UI Design for the title which is due for release in 2019. Check out a preview of the title below!
